A liposome is a vesicle of phospholipids, best thought of as a nano sized "bubble" which encases the nutrients within. Liposomes are very small, some 100-500 nanometers in size; a nanometer is 1 billion times smaller than a meter.
Liposomes can be manufactured to have contents within their "bubble" such as vitamins. They are extremely bioavailable and are near 100% absorbed from the gut making the nutrients within far more bioavailable.
